The BJP IPA 2022 Single Image winners’ exhibition opens on 17 November 2022 at SeenFifteen Gallery and features images from the series “All the women I have photographed, all the women I have slept”, by Mia Salvato and Edgar Martins.

The Photo Israel festival features 50 exhibitions of leading photographers from both Israel and abroad, as well as multi-disciplinary programs such as art and dance performances, video installations, music shows and more. The exhibition @ the Enav Cultural Center and Gan Ha’ir, Tel Aviv, will run from 23.11 – 03.12.2022 and includes works from previous shortlisted artists such as Edgar Martins.

Thomas Girst, Head of BMW Group Cultural Engagement and art historian, shares his 20 favourites from the works exhibited in the galleries of Paris Photo 2022. Included in this selection is Lipograph Light Study Nr. 5.

Works from the series I wance met Jesus in a coille are presented at Paris Photo 2022 @ Galeria Filomena Soares, Stand E10. Paris Photo takes place at Grand Palais Ephémère, from 10-13.11.2022.

Civilization: The Way we Live now, an exhibiting curated by William Ewing featuring works from the series The Time Machine and 00:00.00 is  exhibited at Museum, Marseille. This exhibition will run from  24 Feb to 28 June, 2021.

The University of South Wales hosts a talk and professional development day with Edgar Martins’ on July 29, 10am – 1pm. Edgar Martins discusses his latest project What Photography & Incarceration have in Common with an Empty Vase in the context of his exhibition at MNAC, Lisbon and looks at student’s portfolios and work.

Edgar Martins discusses his latest project with Photo Israel’s curator Ya’ara Aras Haklai, in the context of my nominations for the Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography in both 2020 and 2021. This event will take place on Tue 12 July @ 3pm (GMT).

Edgar Martins gives a guided tour of his his critically acclaimed exhibition at MNAC Lisbon. This event will take place on 7 July at 10am and is open to journalists and art critics, as well as select members of the public. Booking is essential.

There’s a Shite Stunk in the air, Dad’s oot oan bai!, a reimagined iteration of the project What Photography has in Common with an Empty Vase is presented @ Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea (MNAC), Lisbon (Portugal).

New works from the series The Strange Case of Achilles and the Tortoise, a body of work produced by purely analogue means to reflect on how Photography has become inextricably aligned with Techno-capitalist doctrine is showed for the first time at during Photo London, 11-15 May 2022 (Purdy Hicks Gallery).

Goldsmith College, in conjunction with MOCA London will host a screening of Edgar Martins’ short film The Life and Death of Schrodingër’s cat on May 4, 5-7pm,. This will be followed by an artist talk and conversation with UK curator Zelda Cheatle.

The touring exhibition What Photography & Incarceration have  in Common with an Empty Vase will be presented at Ffotogallery, Wales from 03 March – 09 April 2022.
