Where the Turban Moves, There Moves the Territory, an offshoot of Martins’ recent project Anton’s hand is made of guilt, no muscle or bone. He has two clinically depressed fingers and an angry thumb., has been recognised in the Hariban Photography Prize 2025.

Anton’s Hand is Made of Guilt is included in the Fotodocks Festival of Contemporary Photography 2025, which will take place at Architekturgalerie München. The exhibition runs from 09.10.2025 to 12.11.2025.

When he spoke he fired imaginary shots with his gun shaped hands has been selected as a finalist of PHMuseum 2025 Dummybook Award. The finalists will be exhibited at Photobook Mania 2025, between 18-19 October 20205 in Bologna, Italy.

Prix Du Livre, Arles have selected Anton’s Hand is Made of Guilt… as a finalist of 2025 Author Books Awards.
An exhibition of the shortlisted publications books will take place at Mécanique Générale, at Luma Arles, from 08 July to 30 August 2025.

Civilization: The Way we Live now, an exhibition curated by William Ewing featuring works from the series The Poetic Impossibility to Manage the Infinite, The Time Machine and 00:00.00 is  exhibited at The Kunsthalle München, Germany. This exhibition will run from 09 April until  24 August 2025.

Edgar Martins’ Cannibalism (from the series ‘The Rate of Convergence from Two Opposing System Trajectories’, 2010) is featured in the front cover of The London Magazine’s April/May issue. 

This exhibition brings together works from the Encontros de Fotografia collection, including works developed as part of a specialist collaboration between CAV and Edgar Martins. The exhibition will be on display from 30.03-15.06.2025.

This triptych Libyan dissent in hiding, from the serie series “Anton’s Hand is Made of Guilt. No Muscle or Bone. He has a Gung-ho Finger and a Grief-stricken Thumb,” 2023 is included in the inaugural exhibition of Museu de Arte Contemporânea Armando Martins (MACAM), Lisbon, Portugal, War: Reality, Myth and Fiction, curated by Adelaide Ginga. The exhibition will be on display from 26.03-13.10.2025.
