Untitled #1, The Strange Case of Achilles and the Tortoise + NFT

£3,500.00

This artwork is part of an experimental series developed by Edgar Martins during lockdown, as a reflexion on how Photography  has become inextricably aligned to Technocapitalist doctrine and  increasingly reliant on constant upgrading & optimisation (the latest lens, the latest camera, the latest app, the latest operating system), to the detriment of the creative process. The works in this series challenge this notion and are produced, entirely, by making use of the by-products of the printing process and items that would normally be discarded. This artwork is also available, separately, as a unique edition NFT in the form of a 1min video with original audio. Please contact the studio  to enquire about purchasing the NFT.
