CIVILIZATION: The Way we Live now, an exhibiting curated by William Ewing featuring works from the series The Time Machine and 00:00.00 is launched at New Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul. This exhibition will run from 18 Oct 2018 – 17 Feb 2019.

Destinerrance, an exhibition with a compilation of related works from the series SIloquies and Soliloquies on Death Life and Other Interludes 2016 as well as What Photography & Inc. have in Common with an Empty Vase, 2018 is  presented at Purdy Hicks Gallery, London. This exhibition will run from 10 Oct – 25 Nov 2018.

I’m Still Here is an exhibition organised by The Koestler Trust of art by ex-offenders, secure patients and detainees curated by prisoner’s families. This show will include especially commissioned works by Edgar Martins, following his recent collaboration with Grain Projects, HMP Birmingham, its inmates and their families and will run from 19 Sep – 4 Nov 2018.

Works from the series The Poetic Impossibility to Manage the Infinite are included in the 2nd Beijing Media Art Biennale (BMAB) @ CAFA Art Museum, Beijing,  from 5 – 24 Sep 2018.

Works from the series The Time Machine are included in the exhibition 10 Anos – A Colecção at Centro de Arte Contemporânea Graça Morais, Bragança. This exhibition will run from 30 Jun 2018 – 24 Feb 2019.

What Photography & Inc. has in Common with an Empty Vase is awarded 3rd place in the  Lens Culture Art Photography Awards.

The Poetic Impossibility to Manage the Infinite opens at the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery (Leicester, UK). Edgar Martins will be hosting a talk with ESA astronaut Jean-François Clervoy to  accompany  launch of the exhibition, which will run from 26 May – 1 Jul  2018.

Experimental works from the series What Photography & Incarceration have in Common with an Empty Vase is presented at Photo London 2018 @  Purdy Hicks Gallery, from 17 – 20 May 2018.

Siloquies and Soliloquies on Death Life and Other Interludes is awarded 1st prize in the Still Life Category of the SONY World Photography Awards. The Poetic Impossibility to Manage the Infinite and 00:00.00 are also awarded second-prize in the Architecture series.
