This video documents Edgar Martins’ This is not a House exhibition @ The New Art Gallery, Walsall. Originally instigated by a commission from The New York Times Magazine this projects reflects on the collapse of the US housing market. Martins’ work also promps a re-evaluation of our understanding of photography and its fragile and difficult relationship with the “real” and a further exploration of the impact of digital media in journalism.
